Meet Joshua Baud, Owner of One Sharp Store
This business goes back to my grandfather, who founded Indian River Foodservice in the early 1960s. I grew up around that side of the trade — meat-processing and slicing equipment, the kind of machines that keep running for decades if you can find the right parts for them.
I took over the business in 2009 and ran it as Treasure Coast Food Equipment for about a decade. In 2019 I relocated to North Florida and rebuilt it here as North Florida Food Service — One Sharp Store is the website where we make our parts inventory available to everyone, not just local customers.
A lot of what we stock — older Biro saws, Berkel 800- and 900-series slicers, Hollymatic patty machines — isn’t fully supported by the original manufacturers anymore. Finding the right part means knowing the difference between similar-looking model years, not just matching a part number. That’s what three generations in this trade has taught me, and it’s still what I do every day.
If you’re not sure whether a part fits your machine, reach out — I personally help customers work through fitment questions.
